All American 55

Today on Thanksgiving I brushed my teeth over a brand  new, white, porcelain, sink.
We Americans are the only ones who have Thanksgiving.
I wonder how many people in the world have a white sink with chrome faucets.
I wonder how much food you could buy in Africa with the money we spent on that.

Join in  and write a Friday flash 55. Then report to the G-Man.

Many Thanksgiving meals over and over could be bought for the people of Africa I'm sure. I too have the white porcelain sink/chrome faucet combo ~ add that and we'd feed a bunch.

tHAt's one gorgeous sink. With a thought-provoking end. Good-o, girl. Mine is reall lah-di-dah today. No profound thoughts in my head; too much pumpkin pie.

OMG! I have the same sink and the same faucet in my bathroom. You gotta love it! I was wondering how many kids in my town went hungry tonight. That statistic may shock us too.

You scored with this 55! I have traveled in parts of the world where people have never even seen a sink.

There but for the grace of God...

Hello again, I have come over from your other blog. I love this blog. It fits with everything I believe in. Having grown up in Africa and then working as a human rights lawyer I had to draw a line around myself to stop my soul leaking out of me in sorrow. There are so many positive things that can be done and just living your best life is one of them. If you read a post I put up called Nyasha, and you would like to help, I can arrange that. This sounds like a plug but it isn't. Just saying there are things that can be done. I will continue to follow your lovely blog.
